For patients who prefer to pay upfront, we offer a discount for full payment at the start of treatment.

Making the Most of Your Private Health Insurance

Our clinic accepts all private health insurance providers.

Design Orthodontics offers HICAPS claiming on-site for your convenience, allowing eligible rebates to be processed quickly at your appointment. Consultation fees and orthodontic records can be claimed under “general dental” on the day of initial consultation. Orthodontic claims will only be used once treatment begins.

It is recommended that you contact your health fund to check your extras claim coverage, including annual or lifetime limit for orthodontic treatment.

Most health funds allow immediate claims via HICAPS for orthodontic treatment. However, please note that some health funds (such as HBF Health Fund) do not permit orthodontic treatment to be claimed through the HICAPS system. In these cases, the treatment fee must be finalised at the clinic and claims will need to be submitted directly through to your health fund, via the health fund app or website, or in person.
